"I enjoy the process of trying new things, grounding myself in play to explore different forms, textures, and techniques—always looking to capture that feeling of wonder and amazement with the world. I frequently combine different approaches and let loose to see what happens, using that information to guide my work. The most rewarding part is seeing how the tree and the pot get along once a tree is in it and the little world is finally complete." - Justine

Justine is a ceramic artist located in Forest Inn Pennsylvania. She believes that each lump of clay has its own personality and so she works with the clays natural potential to bring out its best while drawing inspiration from her wooded surroundings. Flowers, branches, and bark are common themes that show up on simple, clean forms that echo the quiet grace of the forest.
