Enjoying both traditional shapes, and textured surfaces, I have been pursuing blending these concepts into a single form. My life in clay began when I realized there were no local options for handmade garden pots, only factory made ware. Shortly afterwards, I became entranced by bonsai, and began to blend these pursuits. Joining the Ann Arbor Bonsai Society led me to try and step up my game, while getting to know seriously talented artists.
